What is DNS?

DNS (Domain Name System) is an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Every time you use a domain name, a DNS service translates the name into the corresponding IP address. For example, the domain name mail.powernet.co.uk translates to 195.60.31.47.

How to enter DNS server settings in Windows

To enter the DNS server settings follow the Windows Start Menu;

Start
Control Panel

Select the following icons from the Control Panel to access the network settings;

Network & Internet Settings 
Network Connections

You will then be shown a list of your connections that are configured on your computer.

Right mouse click on your Internet connection and select Properties from the pull down menu.
Select the Networking Tab.
Select Internet Protocol [TCP/IP] & click Properties.
Select Use the following DNS server addresses.

This will allow you to type in the DNS server IP addresses for your Powernet connection.

Preferred DNS server: 195.60.0.1
Alternate DNS server: 195.60.0.5

Click OK on each of the windows to apply the new settings.
