To setup your iPhone to send & receive email via Powernet you need to setup using the following method;
From the iPhone Homepage
- Select Settings
- Select Mail,Contacts,Calendars
- Select Add Account
- Select Other
- Enter your name (as you would sign a letter)
Enter your PowerNet Email Address
- Enter your account Password
- Leave the descript as-is
- Select Save
- Select POP
[Incoming mail server]
- Enter Host name: pop3.powernet.co.uk
Enter User Name: <you-account-login>
Enter your Password: <password>
- [Outgoing Mail Server]
- Enter Host Name: mail.powernet.co.uk
Enter User Name: <node@powernet.com>
- Select Save
[iPhone will try to connect & say it cannot connect using SSL - try without?]
- Select Yes
- From the iPhone Homepage
- Select Settings
- Select Mail,Contacts,Calendars
- Select the new account just created
- Select the SMTP server
- Select the primary SMTP server
- Turn off use SSL
That's it, your now setup for PowerNet POP3 email via iPhone.
